Chris Brown announces plans to retire after failing to get forgiveness for attacking Rihanna

The controversial singer says he's "tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18" and threatens to quit music for good
Well it wasn't a pleasure having you, Chris

Did you just hear that massive racket coming from a mansion in Los Angeles? It’s the sound of the sympathy klaxon after Chris Brown announced his plans to retire.

In a desperate statement on Twitter the controversial singer claims he’s “tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18” after he was charged with assaulting Rihanna.

Sadly for any of his fans it means the brace-wearing numpty has threatened to quit music for good.

He wrote: “Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album.”

Breezy continued: “Being famous is amazing when it’s for ur music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when I was 18. I’m cool & over it!”

Rihanna attacked by Chris Brown

The 24-year-old posted the messages after turning himself into jail – and was released – in connection with an alleged hit-and-run incident that violated his probation for the 2009 attack.

Chris frequently insists he’s a changed man from the one who left then-girlfriend Rihanna’s face bloody and bruised.

The teenage sweethearts split after the incident but did reconcile recently before appearing to end their relationship for good.

Chris was dating both Rihanna and currently lover Kerreuche Tran at the same time and even claimed he was learning to become a one-woman man for the popstar.

In a bizarre video he moans about having too much love and in another interview he confessed to being hurt by Rihanna’s relationships with other celeb blokes.

Chris was involved in a club brawl with rival rapper Drake after they feuded over Rih-Rih.

The bitterness between them still stands and Drake recently admitted he’s worried that it will “end badly”.
