Maria didn't raise a smile as she was spotted walking with her dog

Looking as though she has the weight of the world on her shoulders, Maria
Fowler stepped out for the first time after revealing she tried to kill
herself.
The 26-year-old ex TOWIE star kept her head down as she took her sausage dog
David for a walk in London.
Maria, who is dating ice hockey player James Morgan, admitted she tried to
commit suicide after "reaching an all time low". The
Mirror revealed how the stunning reality TV star had attempted to take her own
life by taking an overdose of pills after suffering from depression.
Troubled: Maria Fowler
Since it was revealed the redhead had tried to harm herself Maria has taken
to Twitter to publicise mental health services and raise awareness about
depression.
Only yesterday she wrote: "You know my name, not my story. You've heard what
I've done, not what I've been through. If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the
first step."
Then Maria blasted healthcare services and attitudes by posting online:
“There’s not enough support available.
"It infuriates me. Any physical illnesses are treated with urgency but not
those affecting the mind.”
She also thanked TV fans for their concern after receiving dozens of messages
of support, adding: “Thankyou to you all for your supportive tweets, it honestly
means a lot to know that there are so many nice people out there.”
Maria wants to raise awareness
Maria was axed from TOWIE last year following allegations she had worked as
an escort. She later
admitted she felt suicidal and was prescribed anti-depressants.
She said: “I just thought if I ended it all and I wasn’t here any more I
wouldn’t have to deal with this.”
In another interview she said: “One night I just started crying and crying. I
wanted to kill myself and I even thought how I’d do it.”
Maria was also prescribed anti-depressants last year after breaking up with
Derby County footballer Lee Croft, 28.
She said: “I was suicidal when he split up with me.”
Her overdose comes a week after current
TOWIE star Mario Falcone revealed
he tried to kill himself .
